Who is actually doing the work

Worth answering, because on a job like this it matters more than anything on the price list.

The owner does every job. Not a crew, not a subcontractor, not somebody different each visit. The person who quotes you on the phone is the person who turns up.

I have been around this trade since I was a kid and worked for other East Valley companies before running my own. Over 500 jobs since December 2024, all of them in these same few towns, and enough dryer vents in Gilbert specifically to know what is usually behind a wall vent before opening anything up.

That experience is why this site says what it says. Knowing which dryer vent problems resolve and which ones do not comes from having been wrong about it early on, and it is cheaper for you to read it here than to find out on your own job.

What we actually do differently

There are three ways to clean a dryer vent and only one of them works.

The fifteen-minute version is a leaf blower or a shop vac pointed into the opening. It moves the loose lint at both ends, leaves the compacted material in the middle of the run, and produces a receipt. Your dryer still takes two cycles.

The one-end version brushes from the dryer side only, which works on a short straight run and does very little on a thirty-foot roof run with three elbows, because the brush never reaches the far half.

What we do is work it from both directions. From outside, with the dryer running the whole time so the air it is pushing carries the lint we agitate clear of the run instead of letting it settle back down the pipe. Then from inside, machine unplugged and pulled back, brush fed through the vent and the lint brought down and vacuumed up out of the wall.

A long run with several elbows gets both ends. A short straight run does not need it, and we will say so rather than pad the job.

We know Gilbert houses

This is the part a company covering four hundred square miles cannot do.

When you say Power Ranch, we already know you have a roof termination on a run that is probably sitting right at the code limit before any lint is involved. When you say Cooley Station, we are thinking about the crushed transition hose before we leave the shop. When you say Circle G, we bring extra bags, because forty years in an eight-foot run produces a pile people photograph.

A company that works everywhere finds out what your house has when they walk into your laundry room, and by then they have already quoted you.

The price is the price

$99 for a standard vent, roof included. $98 each for the two optional add-ons. All of it is published on the pricing page where anyone can read it before calling.

Most companies in this trade will not put a number on their site, and the reason is not that the work varies too much to quote. It is that a price given at your door, after your dryer is pulled out and your afternoon is committed, is a much stronger position than one given over the phone. We would rather lose the call than run that play.

What we will not tell you

The trade has a reputation and it is partly earned.

We will not tell you your vent is a fire hazard to scare you into an add-on. Blocked vents genuinely are a fire risk and the NFPA data is on several pages of this site, but that is context, not a sales tactic. We will not invent a problem inside a wall neither of us can see. And if the airflow test says your duct is clear, we will tell you it is the appliance instead of cleaning something that did not need cleaning.

If your transition hose is already rigid and in good shape, you do not need the $98 upgrade and we will say so standing right there.

The proof is a pile on your floor

There is no certificate at the end of this job. What there is, every time, is the lint that came out of your vent, sitting where you can look at it.

Least sophisticated quality check in the world, and the only one that matters, because you can tell instantly whether $99 bought you anything. Every photo on this site is that moment on a real job in a real Gilbert house.
